District Elder Victor Trevino
Bread House Spanish Ministry Pastor
The Bread House Hispanic Ministry of Michigan is a Bi-lingual Ministry that was started in June of 2004 at The Bread House. A Vision of our Bishop Alfred Singleton along with Bishop-Elect Alfred P. Singleton was to reach in our community- as many as we can for the Lord. While sleeping at around 3:00 a.m. In the morning Pastor Trevino had a Dream and in the dream Pastor Trevino was given direction to go to the Bread House! District Elder Victor & 1st lady Elizabeth Trevino started to pound the pavement and now as of today have a vibrant and growing Hispanic Ministry where many are being saved day by day. Our Ministry strives to be a "Place of Change" for many people. "A Place where your not just a member but you are Family". Pastor Victor A. Trevino was baptized at the young age of 12 years old in that Great name of Jesus Christ! Six months later received the Infilling of the Holy Ghost! Pastor Trevino can still remember a Great man who influenced him in the ministry and who helped him receive the Holy Ghost by the name of Bishop Israel Anaya. Pastor Trevino started his Ministry at the age of 13 years old. Starting out as a Youth President for the Local Church and at age 16 Sunday School Superintendent. Pastor Trevino started to preach at his youth functions preaching more than a hour and a half at some youth meetings wondering today how those young people stayed awake, it was at that time he felt the calling to follow in His Fathers foot steps as a Preacher. He was then elevated to the District Youth Board of The Great Lakes District of The Apostolic Assembly as Secretary, then Vice President and then District Youth President for many years. While on the Youth Board Pastor Trevino would preach and teach throughout the District! Also Directed Youth Camps throughout his time as District Youth President. By preaching at a young age a nickname was given which was "The little spark", that name was given because his father was known as the "Chispa" which means "The Big Spark". Pastor Trevino was the youngest within the District and his Organization to be set aside for Ministry at the age of 17 years old. At age 19 Pastor Trevino became a ordained Minister for the Apostolic Assembly and at age 25 took over his first Church in Lansing, MI. At age 28 he became District Elder for Sector 2 which had 7 churches who he was in charge of. In 2004 Pastor Trevino then made a transition over to The Bread House of Lansing, MI who is under the covering of the P.C.A.F. It is at the Bread House under Bishop Singleton and Bishop-Elect Alfred P. Singleton that our new journey in the Lord has taken place. It is at The Bread House where I have had the opportunity to sit under Great Leadership under Bishop Alfred Singleton who has taught me to be a friend to all men and women alike, to further my education, to believe that God will fulfill the desires of your heart in His time! In our 51st Holy Convocation in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 1st, 2008 Pastor Trevino was elevated to District Elder and is continually bringing souls to the Lord one at a time!
First Lady Elizabeth Trevino of the Hispanic Outreach Ministries has been a great blessing to Pastor Trevino for the Past 20 years. Sister Trevino married Pastor Trevino a month after he was ordained in the Ministry. She knew what the life of a Pastor was because her Grandfather Ruben Cantu was a great Pastor and Evangelist. She would travel with him from town to town, church to church. He was also a great psalmist in his time. Pastor Ruben Cantu was a great inspiration for Sister Cantu and uses that Inspiration to help her husband in Ministry here at the Bread House. We are blessed to have 3 children who are all in Ministry, Victoria, Hezekiah and Victor Jr. We were also blessed to raise a nephew from a infant who's name is Anthony who has been a blessing to us as well. We love them so much and pray that they continue in their Parents footsteps.
